BUSH'S LAST DAY COUNTDOWN
Southwestern Illinois Networking Group (SWING) By-Laws

Article V: Meetings

Section 1: Regular Meetings: Regular meetings of general membership shall be held quarterly in February, May, August and November (November being the Annual Business Meeting).

Section 2: Annual Meeting: There shall be an Annual Business Meeting held in November, at a place to be determined by the Executive Committee. The Annual meeting shall be held after election day in even-numbered years.

Section 3: Special Meetings: Special meetings of membership may be called on the written request of twenty per cent (20%) of the membership. Written notice of the time, place and reason for calling of the special meeting shall be sent to all members and the Executive Committee at last ten (10) days in advance of the proposed special meeting.

Section 4: Executive Committee Meetings: Regular meetings of the Executive Committee will be set by the President. Special Executive Committee meetings may be called at the request of a majority of the Executive Committee. Notice of the time, place and reason for calling of the special Executive Committee meeting shall be sent to all current Executive Committee members of record at least one week preceding the date of the special Executive Committee meeting, unless time limits are waived by mutual agreement of a majority of members of the Executive Committee. A quorum shall be a simple majority.

Section 5: Open Meetings: All regular or special meetings shall be open to all members.

Section 6: Robert’s Rules of Order: All meetings shall be conducted in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order, Newly Revised, unless otherwise set forth herein.

Section 7: Quorum: A quorum at any regular meeting of the membership, for the purpose of conducting business of SWING, shall consist of at least 10 members, including two (2) Executive Committee officers. In the absence of a quorum, business may be conducted as usual for the purpose of accepting minutes of previous meetings, filing of Treasurer's report for audit and acceptance of Committee reports.
