SWING is a grass-roots organization whose purpose is advancing the election of Democratic candidates and working for more equitable representation and participation of Democratic women in all levels of the Democratic Party and in all levels of government.

SWING works to fulfill this purpose through educational programs, fundraising activities, and campaign assistance to the Democratic Party and its candidates. 

The SouthWestern Illinois Democratic Women (formerly known as SWING),
cordially invites you to join us for a celebration to honor Democratic Women in public
office at the state and county level. Our invited guests include Lt. Governor Sheila
Simon and Attorney General Lisa Madigan, as well as area Democratic women. This
is a free reception open to all with light refreshments and a cash bar. We only ask that
you let us know if you are coming, so that we can accommodate everyone. The RSVP
