SWING is a grass-roots organization whose purpose is advancing the election of Democratic candidates and working for more equitable representation and participation of Democratic women in all levels of the Democratic Party and in all levels of government.

SWING works to fulfill this purpose through educational programs, fundraising activities, and campaign assistance to the Democratic Party and its candidates. 

"We will be holding our next SWING meeting at the 17th Street Bar and Grill in O'Fallon at 6:30 on Thursday, March 4. The restaurant is located at 1711 W. Highway 50 in O’Fallon. An intense debate is forming in Illinois over the upcoming census and the subsequent redistricting of legislative lines--the stakes are very high for the Democratic Party. We will have a program on this topic at our meeting so please plan to be there!
